Contract: 12 October 2026 – 11 April 2027
Location: London, UK (Remote)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer IV to build and maintain automation that keeps a large-scale UGC application reliable in production across VR, mobile, and PC/cloud streaming platforms. The role will work closely with the Runtime and KTLO teams, focusing on production reliability, CI/CD, cloud deployment, build health, incident detection, and reducing manual operational and on-call work through automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automation for CI/CD, release pipelines, build health, crash triage, and incident detection.
- Maintain and improve AI-assisted code repair and developer tooling.
- Develop tools to detect broken builds, identify root causes, and recommend or automatically apply fixes.
- Monitor production quality, reliability, and performance metrics and respond to incidents and regressions.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks with a goal of reducing recurring on-call work by 80–90%.
- Support infrastructure and dependency migrations while keeping CI/CD pipelines operational.

Required Skills
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with CI/CD, build, release, and cloud deployment pipelines at scale.
- Experience operating cloud services and production server-side systems.
- Experience with AI-assisted developer tools, coding agents, or automated code repair.
- Experience with build failure detection and root-cause analysis.
- Strong production monitoring, crash triage, and incident response experience.
- Proven ability to reduce operational workload through automation.
- Experience with infrastructure or dependency migrations.
