Software Engineer

Meta is seeking a Software Engineer to build and scale product experiences used by billions of people across Meta's family of apps and platforms. In this role, you will own the design and delivery of complex product features end-to-end, partnering closely with product management, design, data science, and infrastructure teams to ship high-quality, reliable software. You will bring both technical depth and product thinking to your work, driving engineering decisions that directly improve user outcomes and advance the team's roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Build product-grade applications and games that go beyond a core experience to a high-quality bar
  • Produce high-fidelity, responsive and fluid experiences across devices
  • Build software that adapts to resource constraints at runtime, including GPU, CPU, memory, I/O, networking, and thermal
  • Integrate with the operating system and the system services applications rely on, including connectivity, notifications, and security
  • Build features, applications, services, systems, and games that improve model capabilities and generate high-value training data
  • Work across teams, driving projects and initiatives that improve the quality and value of our evaluation and training data
  • Establish yourself as the owner of a particular area, or system with an expert end-to-end understanding

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
