Software Engineer | Python and AI | Global Trading Firm | London, Hybrid
We're partnered with a leading global financial services organisation that's investing heavily in modern engineering practices, AI-enabled software development and cloud-native technology. They're looking for a Software Engineer to join a collaborative team delivering business-critical digital platforms used by colleagues and clients around the world.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys owning solutions from design through to production, working closely with both technical and business stakeholders, and helping shape the next generation of software within a highly respected organisation.

What you'll be doing
- Designing, developing and delivering modern software solutions across the full SDLC
- Building applications using Python, React and Azure technologies
- Leveraging AI tooling to improve software delivery, productivity and code quality
- Working with large datasets and optimising application performance
- Collaborating with engineers, analysts, testers and business stakeholders to deliver strategic solutions
- Contributing to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Taking ownership of technical solutions from concept through to production support

Requirements for the Role
- A Degree in Computer Sciences or related disciplines
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in developing applications with Python, preferably from a Financial Services environment.
- Experience working with Azure or other public cloud platforms
- Exposure to AI-assisted software development or production AI applications
- DevOps and CI/CD experience
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
- Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for solving complex problems and delivering high-quality software
- Exposure to front-end development experience using React
