Role: Software Engineer - Control & Autonomy
Location: Farnborough
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Hybrid
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering organisation for a Software Development Engineer to join a team developing advanced autonomy and control technologies for aerospace applications.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative R&D projects, developing software for autonomous systems from concept through to testing and integration.
The Role
You'll be responsible for developing software for control and autonomy systems, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex technical projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop software using C++
- Support algorithm development for autonomous systems
- Model and simulate systems using MATLAB and Python
- Contribute to software integration, testing and validation
- Work across the full software development lifecycle
About You
We're looking for candidates with:
- Experience developing software in C++
- Knowledge of MATLAB and/or Python
- Experience with autonomous systems, control systems, UAV/UAS, robotics or aerospace
- A degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or another STEM discipline
