About The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Software Engineer positions within our London-based technology practice. Roles of this type may sit within collaborative engineering teams working on cloud-native architectures, API-driven platforms and enterprise integration challenges. The work could involve designing and delivering solutions across Azure, AWS and on-premises infrastructure, with exposure to modern development practices including CI/CD, containerisation and infrastructure-as-code.

- Rate: £500–700 per day

What You Would Do
- Designing and developing scalable microservices and APIs using.NET, ASP.NET, Spring Boot or Python
- Contributing to end-to-end solution delivery across Azure, AWS or hybrid cloud environments
- Writing clean, maintainable code with attention to testing, performance and distributed system patterns
- Collaborating with architects and peers to implement CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation (Terraform)
- Working with SQL databases and data pipeline technologies to support application requirements
- Supporting integration with enterprise systems including SAP environments where relevant
- Contributing to code reviews and sharing knowledge across the engineering team

What You Could Bring
Must-have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Solid experience with at least one modern programming language (Java, C#, Python or similar)
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of microservices architecture, APIs and distributed systems
- Experience with relational databases (SQL) and version control
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice-to-have
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Professional Scrum Developer (PSD I) certification
- Experience with CI/CD tools, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and monitoring platforms
- Familiarity with data quality, ETL pipelines or event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of security practices, Linux and command-line tools (Bash)
- Experience in financial services, life sciences or technology sectors
