Position: Software Engineer, Internal Platforms
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $180K - $280K/yr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of end-to-end fullstack systems powering critical internal workflows and platform capabilities.
- Build clean, scalable backend services and APIs with clear contracts and ownership.
- Develop high-quality, performant frontend interfaces used by internal teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in data modeling and database performance optimization.
- Collaborate closely with product, operations, and design teams to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable systems.
- Improve platform reliability, observability, and developer experience across internal tooling.

Requirements
- Experience building or contributing to production fullstack systems.
- Strong TypeScript fundamentals across frontend and/or backend.
- Familiarity with backend development using Node.js.
- Experience building user interfaces with React or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and core data modeling principles.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS.
