Role: Software Engineer (Remote)

Payout: $100 - $150/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable software systems to support platform operations. The position requires expertise in full-stack development and cloud infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance software solutions for platform services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and optimize performance.
- Lead architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews for junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Strong background in building and deploying microservices on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in databases, including SQL and NoSQL, with a focus on performance optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and experience with caching mechanisms.
- Ability to debug and profile applications to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
