Role: Software Engineer

Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $95,000 – $160,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Software Engineer to design, build, and ship features across the stack. The role partners with product and design to turn requirements into reliable, well-tested code — and to keep the systems behind it healthy as the product scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, write, and ship production code across the application stack
  • Partner with product and design on scoping, technical trade-offs, and delivery timelines
  • Write clean, well-tested code and conduct thorough code reviews for teammates
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues, including on-call rotations as needed
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical roadmap planning
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal engineering practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years building production software at scale
  • Strong proficiency in at least one modern language (Python, Java, Go, TypeScript, etc.)
  • Experience with relational databases and modern API design (REST or GraphQL)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD workflows
  • Solid grasp of system design, testing, and version control with Git
  • Experience working in Agile or similar collaborative engineering environments
