Details about this role:
Ruby on Rails Engineer (upper mid level/ entry senior level).
- Up to £80k & 3 days per week in the office - Shoreditch.
- You will join a small product focussed B2C company who are using tech to elevate & simplify the travel/holiday booking experience.
- 12-month fixed term contract, maternity cover. A lot can happen in a year & this may convert into a full time role!
- Tech stack: Ruby on Rails, Next (experience not essential), Postgres, AWS, CI/CD, Claude Code, Vercel.
- Ownership/ autonomy is plentiful in this team.
- AI is used to boost productivity without being overly relied upon. They're sure to review AI produced code carefully before pushing to prod and are looking for someone with a similar approach to join.
- Collaboration: You'll work closely with other Engineers, the Head of Engineering, and the CTO to build new features for the customer and also for the internal team.
