This is without a doubt one of the most exciting Ruby roles in London right now!
This is your opportunity to join a very exciting health tech start up (founded in 2020, over $15mil funding) in the tech for good space.
Mid and Senior IC roles to be filled
- Hybrid in London - Paddington office 3 days a week
- Salary range of £70 - 100k depending on experience plus equity

💻⚙️Tech info:
- The roles are backend leaning but you will touch the frontend too so full stack experience is preferred
- "The Rails Way" - Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, Turbo, Stimulus, Postgres, AWS. React Native for mobile (experience not required)
- AI (Claude code) is used on a daily basis to support development and productivity
- All of the engineers bring a product/ user mindset. There is only 1 dedicated product manager in the business
- They're looking to hire people who are very happy to stay hands-on as an individual contributor right now

💷📈 Salary, team info and benefits:
- £70 - 100k depending on experience PLUS meaningful equity in a business showing great early signs of success
- Join a tech team of approx 25 people (17 Engineers with Ruby skills). The company is around 35 individuals
- Female founded business. The other founder is highly technical and very fond of Ruby on Rails
- AI forward company constantly exploring how AI can support development, without disregarding the need for human judgement and expertise
- Flexitime, hybrid working (remote 2 days per week), 25 holiday days + bank hols, and more
Interview process:
- 20 - 30 minute call with Ellen (me) - if your application is successful, I will message you within 24 hours with details about the company and next steps
- Remote interview with 2 Engineers
- Technical interview (remote)
- On-site final stage interview
