Division: UK Business

About The Role
If you enjoy solving difficult technical problems and building software that has real-world impact, we'd love to hear from you.
We're growing our engineering teams and recruiting Software Developers at all experience levels to help tackle some of the most interesting challenges in cyber security. Whether you're designing intuitive user interfaces, developing cloud-native applications, building scalable backend services, processing large volumes of data, or working close to the operating system, you'll be creating technology that protects critical systems and makes a genuine difference.
You'll work closely with customers, stakeholders, and experienced engineers to turn complex problems into elegant solutions, while helping shape the technology, architecture, and direction of our products. Along the way, you'll have opportunities to learn new skills, deepen your expertise, and grow your career in a collaborative environment that values curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning.
Note: This role requires eligibility for UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. As a result, applicants must typically be sole British citizens and have lived in the UK continuously for the previous 10 years, subject to UK Government vetting requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
Above all, we're looking for engineers who are naturally curious, enjoy solving difficult problems, and are excited by the opportunity to work across multiple areas of software engineering. You don't need to tick every box. If you're passionate about technology, enjoy learning, and have experience in some of the technologies or disciplines we've described, we encourage you to apply. We're interested in people with strong fundamentals, an appetite for solving challenging problems, and the ambition to continually develop their skills. If you're equally excited by the prospect of building a polished user interface, designing backend services, analysing system performance, working with cloud-native platforms, or exploring how software works under the hood, you'll fit right in.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
