- Salary: £40,000-£55,000
- Location: Fully Remote (or 1 day a week in London if you're local)

I'm working with a profitable, founder-led Tech for Good company that's using technology to help millions of people access the financial support they're entitled to.
They're looking for a Software Engineer to join their LIFT product, a platform that helps local authorities identify vulnerable households and has already delivered billions of pounds in financial support to people across the UK.
This is an opportunity to join a business where your work has a direct social impact, whilst developing as a full-stack engineer alongside an experienced team.
The Opportunity
You'll work across the full software development lifecycle, building new features, improving existing services and contributing to engineering best practices as the team continues to scale.
This is a hands-on role where you'll gain exposure to frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure and modern software engineering practices, working alongside experienced engineers who enjoy mentoring and pairing.

What You'll Be Doing
- Building new features across the full stack using React, TypeScript and Python.
- Working on cloud-native applications using AWS and modern serverless technologies.
- Collaborating through pairing, code reviews and technical discussions.
- Contributing to CI/CD, testing and engineering best practices.
- Helping build reliable, secure software that supports millions of people across the UK.
What They're Looking For
- Commercial experience building software with modern technologies.
- Experience with React, TypeScript or Python (you don't need to have used everything).
- An interest in learning across the full stack and developing your engineering skills.
- Someone who enjoys collaborating, pairing and learning from others.
- A genuine interest in building technology that has a positive impact on people's lives.
