About The Role
As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer at Ledgy, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable, reliable systems that underpin how companies manage their equity. You will collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers based mainly in Zurich and London, as well as product managers and designers, to create industry-leading automation solutions and user experiences. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of equity management processes, replacing manual procedures with automated, streamlined workflows. In this role, you will be involved in all stages of software development, from architecture and design to implementation and testing. You will have the opportunity to influence the technical direction of Ledgy’s platform, contribute to core features, and mentor other engineers. Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
- Proficiency in TypeScript, with experience in both backend and frontend development
- Hands-on experience with React, Node.js, and MongoDB
- Strong understanding of scalable system architecture and data modeling
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
- Familiarity with implementing automation workflows and integrating third-party services
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on clean, maintainable code
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and mentorship
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable equity management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solutions
- Participate in architecture discussions related to scaling workflows, data models, and integrations
- Implement automation features to streamline complex equity workflows and third-party integrations
- Contribute to code reviews, uphold engineering standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes
- Mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise in automation, data modeling, and system scalability
- Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate innovative solutions into the platform
- Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of production systems
