Tech Lead / Lead Software Engineer
Hybrid Working in Manchester City Centre
Up to £75k + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Looking for an opportunity to influence architecture, mentor engineers, and lead the evolution of a business-critical platform?

We're hiring a Tech Lead to play a key role in the transformation of a large-scale verification platform, helping to deliver highly available, low-latency systems that leverage modern cloud technologies, AI-driven capabilities, and real-time data processing.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing technical leadership across a full-stack engineering team
  • Driving architecture and engineering best practices
  • Building scalable solutions using modern technologies including Golang, React, Kafka, .NET, SQL, and Cloud platforms
  • Mentoring developers and supporting technical growth across the team
  • Identifying opportunities for platform improvements and modernisation
  • Working closely with Product, QA, and Engineering stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions

What We're Looking For

  • Strong software engineering background across backend and/or frontend technologies
  • Experience leading technical discussions and influencing architectural decisions
  • Knowledge of modern distributed systems and scalable application design
  • Experience with technologies such as .NET, Golang, TypeScript, React, Kafka, SQL, or similar
  • Passion for clean code, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
