Tech Lead / Lead Software Engineer
Hybrid Working in Manchester City Centre
Up to £75k + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Looking for an opportunity to influence architecture, mentor engineers, and lead the evolution of a business-critical platform?
We're hiring a Tech Lead to play a key role in the transformation of a large-scale verification platform, helping to deliver highly available, low-latency systems that leverage modern cloud technologies, AI-driven capabilities, and real-time data processing.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing technical leadership across a full-stack engineering team
- Driving architecture and engineering best practices
- Building scalable solutions using modern technologies including Golang, React, Kafka, .NET, SQL, and Cloud platforms
- Mentoring developers and supporting technical growth across the team
- Identifying opportunities for platform improvements and modernisation
- Working closely with Product, QA, and Engineering stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions

What We're Looking For
- Strong software engineering background across backend and/or frontend technologies
- Experience leading technical discussions and influencing architectural decisions
- Knowledge of modern distributed systems and scalable application design
- Experience with technologies such as .NET, Golang, TypeScript, React, Kafka, SQL, or similar
- Passion for clean code, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
