A fast-growing business in the technology consultancy space is looking for a Software Engineer
This role involves working on high-impact digital transformation initiatives within the public sector, focusing on building robust backend systems that serve the general public.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing scalable backend microservices using modern frameworks to support large-scale government platforms.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Applying a consultative approach to problem-solving and solution building within an agile environment.
- Engaging with stakeholders to ensure technical requirements align with delivery goals and user needs.
- Maintaining high standards of code quality through continuous integration and delivery practices.

What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in backend development with a focus on microservices and Spring Boot.
- Proven track record working on central government transformation projects, ideally following GDS standards.
- Strong technical proficiency with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS and Kubernetes.
- Must hold active SC Clearance as a pre-requisite for this role.
- Ability to travel to London once per month while working primarily in a remote capacity.
