Senior Software Engineer / TypeScript / Fully Remote
A high-growth technology company is looking for a Senior Engineer with strong TypeScript experience to help shape and scale its core platform.
This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants genuine ownership over architecture, infrastructure, and product delivery. You'll be working with a modern TypeScript stack, solving challenging problems across backend systems, APIs, data, and cloud infrastructure.

What you'll be doing
- Design and build scalable backend services using TypeScript
- Architect APIs, event-driven systems, background jobs, and data pipelines
- Build and evolve cloud infrastructure across AWS and Docker
- Own features end-to-end, from architecture and implementation through to testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Continuously improve performance, scalability, security, and developer experience
What they're looking for
- 4+ years' commercial software engineering experience
- Strong TypeScript / JavaScript experience, ideally across backend and full-stack development
- Excellent understanding of APIs, databases, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with AWS, Docker and modern CI/CD practices
- Strong PostgreSQL and Redis experience
- Experience building high-throughput systems, background jobs, or event-driven architectures
- Strong engineering fundamentals and a track record of taking ownership

Nice to have
- Python experience
- Next.js, Remix, or other modern TypeScript frameworks
- dbt, Snowflake, or analytics/event tracking
