The Role
Build and modernise software across Balio’s portfolio companies. You’ll work closely with product managers and company teams to understand customer needs, improve existing systems and develop new capabilities, including AI. You’ll own work from technical design through to production.

What You’ll Do
- Build product features, services and integrations that solve real customer problems.
- Modernise existing systems while preserving the business rules and workflows customers depend on.
- Make practical decisions about architecture, performance and reliability.
- Use AI tools to improve how you build, with responsibility for testing and code quality.
- Release, monitor and maintain your work, sharing useful approaches across the group.

What You Bring
- Experience building and maintaining production software.
- Strong programming fundamentals and sound judgement about system design.
- The ability to understand unfamiliar codebases and work through ambiguous problems.
- Clear communication and ownership from problem through delivery.
