Software Engineer

Salary: £45,000-£55,000
Location: Liverpool
Work Pattern: In Office (with flexibility)

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join a growing technology business, contributing to the development of innovative software solutions. You’ll take a hands-on role in writing clean, maintainable and well-documented code, alongside supporting solution design, testing, deployment and ongoing improvements.

You’ll work closely with the wider development team to improve engineering standards, contribute ideas and adopt best practices across the software development lifecycle.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 3+ years’ commercial software development experience.
  • Strong Python development skills and familiarity with relevant frameworks.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
  • Understanding of automated testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience working with relational databases, such as SQL, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong Git skills and experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
