About The Company

TradingHub, established in 2010, is a leading provider of sophisticated trade surveillance software designed for the financial services industry. With a focus on delivering intelligent solutions, TradingHub’s products utilize advanced modeling techniques to detect market manipulation across various asset classes. The company’s mission is to empower financial institutions with tools that enhance regulatory compliance, mitigate risks, and uphold market integrity. With a global team of over 150 experts, TradingHub combines deep market expertise with innovative technology to address the complex challenges faced by its clients worldwide.

About The Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Web team at TradingHub. The team is responsible for developing the core web frameworks that power our flagship products, including MAST and CaaS, as well as internal tools. The primary objective of this role is to enable financial institutions to establish comprehensive front-to-back controls that monitor regulatory risk effectively. This involves creating configurable metrics for data analysis and developing intuitive dashboards that visualize alert results, thereby facilitating quick and accurate decision-making.

As a Software Engineer, you will work across our entire product platform, contributing to the implementation of new features, developing library code, and ensuring the robustness of our solutions used by some of the world’s leading financial organizations. You will also serve as a trusted point of contact for other teams, collaborating closely with product managers, quantitative analysts, and fellow engineers. The role offers a dynamic environment that values curiosity, problem-solving, and the application of strong development fundamentals in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of professional experience as a software engineer, demonstrating a solid foundation in software development practices. Proficiency in C# and .NET, along with experience in ASP.NET or other object-oriented frameworks, is essential. Front-end exposure with at least one modern framework such as Blazor, React, Angular, or Vue is required. A good understanding of data structures and algorithms is also necessary to develop efficient and scalable solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
