We're looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join our growing Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a talented group of engineers, influence how we build software, and help shape the future of AI-assisted engineering at Expana.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of software engineers, supporting their growth, performance, and career progression.
- Creating a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
- Partnering closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver valuable outcomes for customers.
- Bringing technical insight to architecture, design reviews, and engineering decisions.
- Championing engineering excellence across code quality, testing, security, performance, and reliability.
- Driving the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and helping teams maximise the benefits of emerging technologies.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and capability building as we continue to grow.

- Experience leading and developing software engineering teams.
- A strong technical background with the ability to guide, coach, and challenge engineering decisions.
- Experience delivering software in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Curiosity about AI and enthusiasm for helping teams adopt new ways of working.
