Software Engineering Manager
Lead the development of cutting-edge MedTech and connected device technologies. We're looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of software and firmware engineers delivering innovative products across medical devices, diagnostics, wearables, sensor systems and drug delivery platforms.
In this role, you'll combine technical leadership with people management, overseeing the full software development lifecycle while driving engineering excellence within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of software and firmware engineers.
- Oversee software architecture, development, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
- Drive best practices in Agile delivery, CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality.
- Provide technical leadership across embedded software, firmware, and connected device projects.
- Ensure compliance with standards including IEC 62304 and ISO 13485.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Electronics, Product Design, Quality, and Manufacturing.
- Support customer engagements, proposals, and future business opportunities.

About You
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams.
- Strong background in software architecture and SDLC management.
- Hands-on experience with embedded C/C++, firmware development, and RTOS environments.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable Experience
- Medical devices, healthcare technology, or other safety-critical industries.
- IEC 62304, ISO 13485, GMP, or FDA-regulated environments.
- Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Cybersecurity, IoT, Embedded Linux, Python, AI/ML, FPGA, or MATLAB.
