A new opportunity has arisen for a Software Engineering Manager who is passionate about leading people to work for a global company with a market-leading suite of security products.

This is a chance to build and lead a high-performing team in a stable, highly innovative environment.

Hybrid Working

2 days per week on site in central Edinburgh.

The Role

This position will entail building and managing a high-performing, talented team of Software Engineers tasked with tackling real-world problems and enhancing the safety of communities. You will recruit, coach, and mentor engineers from Graduate to Senior level, drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, as well as promoting best engineering practices.

Skills

The Software Engineering Manager will have a background in people leadership and in-depth knowledge of the SDLC and Scrum/Agile frameworks. Knowledge of Cloud and CI/CD would be required, and the ability to demonstrate the leveraging of AI tools for optimization would be highly advantageous. The role holder will lead by example, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and will embrace and champion a culture of innovation and continual learning.
