Software Engineering Manager
We’re working with one of the most exciting companies in the AI space, a profitable, rapidly growing business valued at around $10 billion, with 500+ employees.
The company has received numerous industry accolades and has been recognised as one of the Top 50 companies to watch on the Pre-IPO Watchlist, reflecting the strength of the business and its growth trajectory.
The engineering organisation is operating at impressive scale, currently handling approximately 10,000 transactions per second with around 50ms latency. As the platform continues to grow, they’re looking for an Engineering Manager who can lead a strong engineering team while remaining technically engaged in some of the most interesting challenges across the business.
This is a role for an engineering leader who enjoys the balance of people leadership, technical strategy, and hands-on engineering. You’ll manage a team of around 6–8 engineers, helping them grow while setting technical direction and ensuring the team continues to deliver highly scalable and reliable systems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
