Software Engineering Manager

Salary: £70 - 80K p.a

Job Description:

The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing the Software Development Team which may also include elements of the Company's Software Systems and cybersecurity in line with relevant frameworks, as well as providing technical support across the business.

Operating at the Executive level, you will be tasked with managing a team of Software Developers, support, and software development functions.

Leading a small team of Software Developers, a key objective of the role will be to lead and maintain the Company's Security and Software Systems.

Software Systems and Support

  • Manage, maintain, and continually improve the Company's Software Systems and products.
  • Monitor and support network performance, security, reliability, and resilience.

Candidate Criteria:

  • BSc Computer Science
  • .net
  • C#
  • Visual Studio
  • SQL Database administration / queries
  • Visual C# or VB.Net

You should be an experienced IT Manager with several years of experience in an IT Manager, Infrastructure Manager, Network Manager, or similar role.

Desirable

  • BSc in Computer Science
  • In-depth Software Development skills (.net, C# Full Stack, Visual Studio)
  • Microsoft certifications
  • Cyber Essentials Assessor knowledge
  • Software Programming and/or Management
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and Azure environments
