About the Role
Full Stack Engineer working across TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL and AWS serverless technologies. You'll help build and evolve business services and customer-facing platforms, contributing across both backend services and frontend applications. You'll develop scalable APIs, cloud-native services and intuitive React-based experiences, while helping build reliable data flows that support evolving customer needs. AI and agentic approaches will also be leveraged throughout the development process to improve engineering efficiency, automation and the way we build and evolve our platforms.
We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus to help build, evolve and improve services and platforms that support our business and customers.
You'll work primarily on frontend applications using React and TypeScript, while also contributing to backend services, APIs and platform capabilities when required. This is an opportunity to work with modern cloud-native technologies, GraphQL-based architectures, event-driven systems and customer-facing products that play an important role in managing and maintaining customer data.
The platform is continuously evolving to improve how customer data is updated, managed and maintained across our systems. You'll help build intuitive, reliable and scalable user experiences that make it easier for customers and internal users to interact with and manage data.
We're looking for engineers who enjoy building high-quality user experiences, solving technical problems and continuously improving their skills. This is a great opportunity for a Regular-level engineer to develop deeper frontend expertise while working as part of a full-stack engineering team. AI and agentic approaches will also be used throughout the development process to improve engineering efficiency, automation and the way we build and evolve the platform.

- Build responsive, intuitive and maintainable customer-facing user interfaces.
- Develop reusable components and contribute to frontend architecture and design patterns.
- Work with APIs and integrate frontend applications with backend services.
- Build and consume GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Contribute to platform capabilities for updating, managing and maintaining customer data.
- Work across the full stack where required, gaining exposure to backend services and AWS technologies.
- Contribute to application performance, reliability, accessibility and observability.
- Take ownership of frontend features from development through to production.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and design sessions.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Platform and Engineering teams to deliver customer value.
- Contribute to engineering improvements, automation and modern development practices.
- Leverage AI and agentic development approaches to improve software delivery, productivity and engineering workflows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
