Join an innovative neurotechnology start-up – London, Hybrid Working Model

This pioneering deep-tech company is developing next-generation implantable medical devices, combining semiconductor technology with advanced software to transform neurological care. The team are now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to build the software platforms, tools and SDKs that enable customers and internal teams to interact with their cutting-edge hardware.

You’ll work at the intersection of software, hardware and product development, creating customer-facing applications, automation tools and evaluation platforms that help bring complex technology into real-world use.

For this Embedded Software Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:

  • Experience working with embedded hardware platforms (STM32, Raspberry Pi or similar)
  • Familiarity interfacing with hardware using protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB or Ethernet
  • Experience building SDKs, APIs or customer-facing software tools
  • Experience with automation, testing and debugging workflows
  • Ability to work closely with hardware, product and applications teams
  • Any exposure to GUI development, JavaScript/TypeScript or scientific instrumentation environments is advantageous
