Life on the team
You’ll join a collaborative Software Licence Management team that helps customers control cost, reduce risk and get greater value from their software estate. Working alongside experienced specialists and service teams, you’ll turn licence, entitlement and usage data into accurate insight that supports compliance, renewals and day-to-day service delivery. It’s a hands-on role with the opportunity to build your expertise across major technology vendors, supported by colleagues who value accuracy, curiosity and continuous improvement.
Current Security Clearance, or the ability to undertake and obtain the clearance required for the role, is essential
What you’ll do
- Support the Licence Manager, in the day-to-day delivery of Software Licence Management services, completing work to agreed priorities and timescales.
- Maintain accurate licence, entitlement, contract, application and renewal records.
- Collect, validate and reconcile inventory, discovery, usage, purchase and entitlement data.
- Use Snow or equivalent tools to support licence positions, compliance checks, metering, reharvesting and optimisation.
- Produce reports, dashboards, data extracts and evidence for service reviews, renewals and audits.
- Help identify unused software, cost-saving opportunities and ways to improve licence utilisation.
- Respond to routine customer and internal queries, escalating complex licensing or commercial matters appropriately.
- Work closely with colleagues across service, customer, procurement, tooling and reporting teams to deliver a dependable service.

What you’ll need
- Experience in Software Licence Management, software licensing, IT service operations or a related analytical role.
- Working knowledge of software licensing concepts; exposure to vendors such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Adobe or Veritas would be beneficial.
- Confidence working with data, spreadsheets, reporting or licence-management tools, with strong attention to detail.
- An understanding of discovery, inventory, entitlements, reconciliation, software usage and reharvesting.
- An organised and customer-focused approach, with clear communication skills and the confidence to raise issues.
- The ability to take ownership of assigned analysis while working collaboratively within an established team.
