WebX Systems Limited | Fully Remote (UK) | Full-time, Permanent

Salary £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience and qualifications

ABOUT WEBX

Join WebX Systems, a global leader in technical publishing and content lifecycle management solutions for the aerospace and defence industry.

Our Ultra product suite, covering XML authoring, CSDB content management, IETP delivery and automated publishing, supports S1000D and ATA iSpec 2200 programmes for large corporate customers worldwide.

We are a small, fully remote UK team where your work is visible and your impact is direct.

THE ROLE

You will be central to maximising the quality, reliability and value of our software for customers.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining software product testing, product support, installation and training with customer engagement. Product testing and release validation form a substantial part of the role. You will work closely with customers and our internal team.

The role includes occasional UK and international travel for customer installations, training, exhibitions and other business events. Travel may account for up to approximately 20% of working time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Support

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive working knowledge of WebX software products, their functionality, configuration and the standards they support, including S1000D and ATA iSpec 2200, as the foundation for effective testing, support, installation, training and customer communication.
  • Own and resolve customer support tickets, including diagnosing and resolving issues, collaborating with engineering on escalations, creating documentation and sharing expertise.
  • Manage the customer Help and Support portal, including ticket administration, user guidance and coordination of approved support and consultancy services.
  • Create and maintain customer guidance, support documentation and internal knowledge resources.

Software Product Testing and Release Validation

  • Plan and carry out structured functional, regression and release testing of WebX software products.
  • Test new releases, features, enhancements and software fixes against defined requirements and expected behaviour.
  • Create, maintain and execute clear test cases, test scenarios and repeatable testing procedures.
  • Reproduce customer-reported issues and provide engineering colleagues with accurate reproduction steps, test evidence, logs and supporting information.
  • Record and manage defects through Azure DevOps, including severity, impact, reproduction steps, actual results and expected results.
  • Work closely with engineering colleagues throughout defect investigation and resolution.
  • Retest corrected defects and verify that fixes resolve the reported issue without introducing regressions or unintended side effects.
  • Support release validation by confirming that planned functionality has been tested and that identified issues have been appropriately resolved or documented.
  • Maintain suitable test environments, representative test data and supporting testing documentation.

Product Installation

  • Handle remote and on-site product installations in coordination with customer IT departments and WebX engineering colleagues.
  • Manage database and network port configuration, virtual machine setup, security, single sign-on and system integration.
  • Configure and support AI-enabled product features, including large language model setup and integration for UltraCSDB deployments.
  • Maintain clear customer communication throughout installation and deployment activities.
  • Provide ongoing post-installation support and guidance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
