Role Description
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer is a full-time, remote role responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of Savvy’s technology solutions. Day-to-day activities include:

- Designing and executing manual test cases
- Performing functional, regression, and integration testing
- Validating new features against requirements

The role involves collaborating with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to:
- Identify defects
- Document issues clearly
- Support timely resolution
The engineer will:
- Create and maintain test documentation
- Contribute to quality standards
- Help refine processes that improve release stability and customer experience
This position also includes:
- Participating in reviews
- Proposing enhancements
- Supporting continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance practices.
- Proficiency in Manual Testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Understanding of Software Development concepts and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, and defect reports using standard QA tools.
- Ability to analyze requirements, identify edge cases, and translate them into effective tests.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaboration in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving mindset.
- Experience with API testing, database queries, or basic scripting/automation is beneficial.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and working within distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
