A LITTLE INFORMATION ABOUT US!

Foods Connected is an award-winning cloud-based software platform helping retailers and food companies manage their supply chain, quality control, and trading and planning processes. Our software is used by 10 of the largest food retailers in the world, giving our customers real-time visibility and control over what's happening across their business.

We're growing fast, and we're looking for people who are technically sharp, commercially minded, and genuinely interested in solving problems for customers in a high-growth environment.

IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?

The primary role of the Software Sales Engineer is to sell Foods Connected software and services to clients by understanding their needs and demonstrating how the product meets those needs.

The Software Sales Engineer is an instrumental part of the Sales team, reporting to the Senior Software Sales Engineer. Working closely with our Commercial Sales team and using enterprise AI tools, you will deliver engaging product demonstrations to food businesses globally, giving them a detailed view of the value Foods Connected can add to their operations. A strong knowledge of demonstrating SaaS products and an interest in the food industry will help you understand the issues facing the sector and how Foods Connected's products can solve them.

This role calls for a high standard of attention to detail, including the preparation of customised demos that engage the audience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
