About the Project
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a DO-178C aerospace programme developing safety-critical software for an aircraft console/display system. The software consists of both SCADE-generated display code and manually developed Embedded C software.
Due to increased verification and validation activity, an additional Software Test Engineer is required to support delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop software test plans and test procedures
- Write and execute test scripts
- Perform module-level and integration testing
- Verify manually developed Embedded C software
- Produce test reports and certification evidence
- Support DO-178C verification and validation activities
- Work with software developers and test leads to ensure successful project delivery
- Support host and target-based testing activities

Essential Experience
- DO-178B or DO-178C experience
- Embedded C software experience
- Software Verification & Validation (V&V)
- Module, unit or integration testing
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Aerospace, Defence, Automotive or other safety-critical industry experience
