Role: Test Automation Engineer

A Day in the Role
A typical day might begin after the team’s stand-up, where you give an update on your progress and highlight any blockers. You’ll spend the morning designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts with industry-standard tools, integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines. Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure the right test coverage across our services. When issues arise, you’ll troubleshoot and resolve automation failures, then document what you’ve learned to help the team. Later in the afternoon, you’ll contribute to improving our automation strategy and tooling, recommending enhancements, refining frameworks, and driving continuous improvement.

- Java + Selenium
- Karate Framework
- API Automation (Postman/SOAPUI)
- Jenkins/GitHub Actions
- Azure exposure
- Docker/Kubernetes exposure
- Cucumber BDD
- Banking/Financial Services experience
