Software Test Engineer
Location: Oxford – Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
Salary: £40,000–£50,000 + Share Options
My client is a growing AI Start-up, they are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join the team. The role will be spread across software testing, software releases, and customer support.
Key Requirements
- Python – essential
- Bash scripting – essential
- Linux / Ubuntu – essential
- Docker – essential
- AWS
- Experience working with Git and CI/CD processes.
- Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Experience
- ROS / ROS 2
- Robotics, autonomous systems, or computer vision.
- SLAM algorithms or spatial/3D technologies.
- NVIDIA Jetson or other edge-computing hardware.
- Embedded Linux systems.
- OTA deployment and software updates.
- Debian packaging and apt repositories.
- GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- React / Node.js applications.
- Hardware/software integration testing.
