We're looking for an experienced Software Test Manager to lead our testing function and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality Warehouse Control System (WCS) software. Reporting to the Director of IT, you’ll be responsible for defining testing strategies, driving automation, developing testing standards, and leading a talented team in a fast-paced software delivery environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a people-focused leader who is passionate about software quality, continuous improvement, and developing high-performing teams.

What you'll be handling:

As Software Test Manager, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Software Test Team and Test Team Leaders.
  • Define and implement testing strategies, governance frameworks, and quality standards.
  • Oversee planning, estimation, scheduling, and execution of testing activities across multiple projects.
  • Drive the automation testing strategy to improve coverage, efficiency, and repeatability.
  • Monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support customer testing, deployment, commissioning, and go-live activities.
  • Collaborate with Development, Project Delivery, customers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Play an active role within the WCS Management Team and contribute to wider departmental objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
