Solar Design and Technical Sales Consultant

Be part of our renewable revolution helping customers make the best choices.

Here at SunGift Solar, we’re dedicated to ensuring our customers understand how they can benefit from Solar PV and batteries systems and to find the best options for them. We’re one of the leading installation organisations in the South-West (2024 Winner of the Regional Solar PV Installer and Contractor of the Year). We pride ourselves on our friendly Company culture and our fantastic customer service. As an accredited Tesla installer, we’re dedicated to delivering cutting edge technology and a world-class service to our customers.

Who We’d Love to Hire:

In this hybrid role, we’re looking for someone with two skill sets; technical design and sales. Perhaps you have a background in customer service or sales, selling solar or similar technical products. Or maybe you have design engineering experience, able to carry out surveys and use our design software. We appreciate that you’re likely to be stronger in one than the other and we will support you to strengthen your skills and adapt to this varied role.

It’s important that you have excellent organisational skills to manage projects, customers and resources. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping our customers to make informed choices and providing comprehensive support for projects across their entire lifecycle. We can offer you an exciting career in renewable energy. Relevant recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
