Are you an experienced O&M Engineer with a background in electrical engineering or renewable energy?
Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced O&M Engineer to join an established business operating within the solar and renewable energy sector. This is a hands-on role involving the maintenance, troubleshooting and optimisation of solar energy systems across a range of sites. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently on-site, while also supporting wider maintenance and asset performance activities remotely.
What's involved?
- Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance on solar energy systems
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and technical faults
- Supporting the ongoing performance and reliability of solar assets
- Carrying out electrical maintenance and engineering tasks
- Working with clients and internal teams to resolve technical issues
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with relevant standards
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Supporting long-term asset optimisation and performance improvements
- Travelling to solar park sites across the Midlands and surrounding areas

What we're looking for
- Previous experience in O&M, electrical engineering or renewable energy
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of single and three-phase electrical systems
- Experience with preventative maintenance and maintenance management
- 17th or 18th Edition
- 2391 or equivalent would be advantageous
- Renewable energy qualifications/experience would be beneficial
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites

- Salary from £45,000, depending on experience

Ideally based in or around Leicester, Northampton, Evesham or surrounding areas, giving good access to sites across the Midlands and wider region.
