Solar Sales Consultant | £60,000–£80,000 OTE | Self-Employed, Commission-Only
Right-NRG is growing across the UK, and we’re looking for confident, ambitious salespeople to join our field sales team.
This is a customer-facing sales role where you’ll attend pre-arranged appointments with homeowners who have already expressed an interest in solar. You won’t be spending your day cold calling or trying to generate your own leads, your focus will be on building rapport, understanding the customer’s needs, and converting genuine interest into sales.
We’re looking for people who are comfortable taking ownership of their performance, enjoy working independently, and are motivated by the opportunity to earn based on results.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What matters most is that you’re confident with customers, can build trust quickly, are comfortable handling objections, and have the drive to close.
