SOLAR PPM ENGINEER

Looking for your next engineering opportunity?
We’re looking for a Solar PPM Engineer to join our team, supporting the ongoing performance and reliability of commercial Solar PV installations.
You’ll work across customer sites carrying out planned maintenance, inspections, testing and fault-finding, identifying issues early and helping keep systems safe, compliant and operating efficiently.

- Complete PPM inspections, testing and condition assessments.
- Diagnose faults and identify performance issues.
- Carry out minor remedial works where required.
- Analyse test results and monitoring data.
- Produce accurate maintenance reports and recommendations.
- Work closely with customers, subcontractors and internal teams.
- Follow all health & safety and company procedures.
What you’ll need
- Commercial Solar PV experience.
- Strong electrical and fault-finding knowledge.
- PPM or electrical maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of inverters, isolators and LV systems.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent), 18th Edition and 2391 (or equivalent).
Desirable:
- Solar PV certification, IPAF, PASMA or drone experience.
