Greenvolt Next

Greenvolt Next is committed to decentralized energy production, as it represents one of the key pillars of the energy transition and a crucial lever for reducing electricity bills. We have partnerships across Europe, based on local expertise and a deep understanding of each market.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of the role is to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the solar PV portfolio through performance monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis and accurate reporting. The role exists to maximise plant availability and energy production while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance. The role requires regular travel to customer and project sites, including overnight stays where necessary, and occasional out-of-hours support based on operational requirements.

Key Accountabilities

Preventative and Corrective Maintenance

  • Plan and carry out scheduled preventative maintenance across C&I and utility-scale solar PV systems.
  • Inspect PV modules, mounting systems, roof penetrations, inverters, AC/DC cabling, isolators, monitoring systems and associated balance-of-plant equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults, including inverter trips, string faults, communication failures, monitoring issues, site alarms and system underperformance.
  • Repair or replace faulty equipment, including modules, DC string cabling and inverters, within the limits of competence and authorisation.
  • Carry out thermographic inspections and other electrical testing as required.
  • Identify deterioration, defects and performance issues, escalating complex matters to engineering teams, manufacturers or specialist contractors.
  • Coordinate periodic activities such as module cleaning, vegetation management and site-access requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate spare-parts records and support warranty claims with manufacturers.

Monitoring and Performance Management

  • Monitor daily plant performance through SCADA and remote monitoring platforms.
  • Analyse production data and key performance indicators, including Performance Ratio (PR), availability and system yield.
  • Investigate technical events and performance anomalies, taking or coordinating appropriate corrective action.
  • Support the collection, validation, classification and reporting of operational data across the portfolio.
  • Work with the Performance Analyst and relevant technical teams to establish the cause and correct classification of system events.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
