Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer, in South Yorkshire and the Midlands, to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar panels on residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Duties
- Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
- Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on solar systems.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during the installation process.

Experience
- Previous experience in solar installation or related fields is essential.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and basic wiring is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A valid driver's licence is required for travel to various job sites.
- Physical fitness is necessary, as the role involves lifting heavy equipment and working at heights.
