Project Manager - Remote
Contract Role | Outside IR35
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of commercial Solar PV projects from contract handover through to completion. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering sustainable energy solutions across the UK.
Role Overview
You will manage the full lifecycle of commercial Solar PV projects, overseeing programmes, budgets, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and successful delivery. Act as the main point of contact for customers while coordinating technical, commercial, and operational activities through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of commercial Solar PV projects from contract handover through to completion.
- Oversee project planning, budgets, programmes, resources, and overall project performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Coordinate technical reviews, site surveys, project documentation, and DNO applications.
- Manage installation contractors and delivery partners to ensure projects remain on programme.
- Ensure all works meet health, safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Oversee commissioning, client handover, and project close-out.
- Monitor project risks, costs, and performance, supporting commercial reporting where required.

Criteria:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction, electrical, or renewable energy projects.
- Demonstrable experience delivering commercial Solar PV projects.
- Strong project planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and costs.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations, health and safety, and project compliance requirements.
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant Project Management qualification or equivalent experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence
