☀️ Solar Project Manager | Cardiff | Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Company Vehicle
Are you an experienced Electrician, Solar Supervisor or Renewables Engineer ready to step into Project Management?
This could be your opportunity to take the next step.
We're working with a growing renewables business in Cardiff that is looking for a Solar Project Manager to take ownership of commercial and utility-scale renewable energy projects across Wales.
You don't necessarily need to already be a Project Manager.
If you've got a strong electrical background, experience leading teams or sites, and you're ready to take on greater responsibility, this role offers a genuine route into project leadership.
⚡ What you'll be working on
You'll oversee projects involving:
- Solar PV
- Battery Energy Storage Systems
- EV Charging Infrastructure
From planning through to completion, you'll coordinate the people, resources and programme needed to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

- Managing projects from inception through to completion
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and electrical installers
- Planning programmes, procurement and project resources
- Managing budgets, reporting and client communication
- Ensuring electrical, quality and certification requirements are met
- Driving health & safety across project sites
- Building relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders
👷 Who could this suit?
We're particularly interested in speaking with:
- Senior Electricians
- Solar Supervisors
- Electrical Supervisors
- Renewables Engineers
- Electrical Project Coordinators
- Existing Project Managers
You'll ideally have:
- Qualified Electrician status
- Strong electrical knowledge
- Experience in solar, electrical installations, renewables or a related sector
- Previous supervisory, site leadership or project experience
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and/or relevant renewable energy qualifications
- SMSTS / SSSTS, or willingness to obtain
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
