🚨 SOLAR PPM PROJECT MANAGER | DEWSBURY ☀️
💰 £55,000 + £5,000
📍 Dewsbury
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in solar PV, electrical, building services, facilities management or renewable energy?
We’re looking for a Solar PPM Project Manager to oversee the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contracts across a national portfolio of solar PV and renewable energy assets.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing multiple sites, coordinating engineers and subcontractors, working closely with clients, and helping maximise the performance of renewable energy assets.
🔧 The Role
You’ll be responsible for ensuring maintenance programmes are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to agreed contractual standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing national solar PV maintenance programmes
- Coordinating engineers and subcontractors across multiple locations
- Managing KPIs, SLAs and compliance requirements
- Reviewing maintenance reports, inspections and performance data
- Managing budgets, costs, purchase orders and supplier invoices
- Preparing quotations for remedial works
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients
- Producing KPI dashboards, compliance reports and financial forecasts
- Ensuring all works comply with health & safety, electrical and industry regulations
- Supporting continuous improvement and operational best practice
- Providing guidance and support to engineers and junior team members

⚡ What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Project Management experience within Building Services, Electrical, FM or Renewable Energy
- Experience delivering PPM contracts
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing budgets and subcontractors
- Good understanding of electrical systems and health & safety legislation
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Valid Drone Licence and competency in drone operation
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or equivalent industry experience

Desirable:
- Solar PV maintenance experience
- Knowledge of battery storage and EV charging infrastructure
- Experience within retail or national maintenance environments
- CAFM, Power BI and Microsoft Project experience
- Knowledge of decarbonisation and sustainability programmes
- IOSH Managing Safely
- SMSTS / SSSTS
- PRINCE2 Practitioner / APM PMQ
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- BS7671 / MCS awareness
- Solar PV qualification
