About PipeWize

PipeWize Ltd is a rapidly growing mechanical, industrial and construction services contractor delivering complex projects across the UK. As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our renewable energy division, delivering high-quality solar engineering solutions for commercial, industrial and utility-scale projects.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Solar Project Manager to support the growth of this division and lead projects from initial business development and tendering through to construction, commissioning and final handover.

The Role

The successful candidate will identify and develop new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, lead tender submissions and manage awarded solar projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.

This is a commercially focused and technically demanding role requiring experience in business development, tender management, solar project delivery and construction project management. The Solar Project Manager will act as the key link between clients, commercial teams, technical specialists, supply-chain partners and project-delivery teams, ensuring opportunities are successfully converted into safe, profitable and high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Market Growth

  • Develop business development strategies to grow PipeWize Ltd’s solar and renewable energy activities.
  • Build relationships with clients, developers, contractors, consultants, suppliers and strategic partners.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and provide regular forecasts and progress reports.
  • Represent the company at meetings, presentations, exhibitions and industry events.
  • Support client negotiations, partnerships and preferred-supplier agreements through to contract award.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across mechanical, electrical, civil, lifting and installation services.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
