Carbon3, founded in 2019, is a specialist in renewable energy, electric vehicle charging, and ESG solutions for the new build construction and retrofit sectors. We provide end-to-end solutions, ensuring our clients meet their sustainability and planning targets through innovative carbon reduction initiatives.
We’re looking for an experienced Solar PV Contracts Manager to lead and deliver high-impact projects from pre-construction to project completion. This includes large multi-plot housing schemes, retrofit commercial properties, and mass energy efficiency upgrades. With a commitment to sustainability and innovation, this role will play a vital part in helping us drive impactful change.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full contract management, from handover to post-commissioning, ensuring delivery aligns with contract deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Serve as the central coordination point between the client, QS, project managers, design teams, and project delivery teams.
- Lead material and revenue forecasting for efficient project execution.
- Manage resources, including scheduling labor, materials, and necessary equipment.
- Build positive relationships through regular communication with clients and site managers, providing updates and progress reports.
- Ensure all pre-installation and post-completion documentation (DNO, RAMS, O&Ms, certifications) is timely and accurate.
- Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors as needed to guarantee seamless project execution.
- Identify potential project risks and implement effective solutions.
- Manage installation teams, ensure smooth operations, and maintain a positive team environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
