Your Role
As a Solar Sales Associate, you’ll be at the frontline of our mission to make solar energy accessible and attractive to homeowners. You will guide inbound customers through the entire sales process — from initial consultation, through technical guidance, to closing the sale. Using your technical knowledge and expert advice, you’ll design solar PV systems using industry-leading modelling tools like SolarEdge. Your work will directly drive sales growth and enhance customer experience, helping MakeMyHouseGreen scale its impact.

You’ll join a close-knit, skilled sales team of eight who combine technical savvy with strong customer rapport. Collaboration with our operations and customer service teams ensures customers enjoy a seamless journey from sale through installation and ongoing support. What You’ll Do
- Guide inbound customers through the full sales cycle with empathy and clarity, ensuring a smooth, consultative experience.
- Provide expert, technical advice on solar energy systems, answering customer questions with confidence and accuracy.
- Manage and nurture a pipeline of customers, maintaining regular contact to maximize conversion rates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth handovers and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Use SolarEdge and other modelling tools to design accurate solar PV systems, including site layouts and component placement.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest solar technology and industry trends to continuously improve your advice and system modelling.

Nice to Have
- Previous experience in solar or renewable energy sales or technical roles.
- Familiarity with solar system design or relevant software tools.
- Comfort working in a fast-growing, mission-driven business environment.
A Day in Your Life
Your day starts by reviewing your customer pipeline and prioritising follow-ups. You’ll jump into calls with interested homeowners, conducting consultations that blend technical insight with relatable advice. Between calls, you’ll design system layouts on SolarEdge, checking details and optimising solutions. You’ll collaborate with your sales peers and operations colleagues regularly to ensure every customer progresses smoothly towards installation. Throughout, you stay curious and updated on industry changes that can help you serve customers better.
