Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Solar Sales Representative. The Solar Sales Representative will engage with prospective residential customers, educate them on the benefits of solar energy, and guide them through the decision-making process. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate system designs, smooth onboarding, and a positive customer experience from initial contact through installation. The Solar Sales Representative is expected to:
- Maintain detailed records in the CRM
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Represent Emerald Solar’s values in every customer interaction
Qualifications
- Strong consultative sales and customer relationship skills, with experience in residential or home services sales preferred.
- Solid communication and presentation abilities, including active listening and clear explanation of technical concepts in accessible terms.
- Comfort with remote work tools and digital platforms, including CRM systems, video conferencing, and basic productivity software.
- Understanding of or interest in renewable energy, solar technology, and energy efficiency solutions.
- Goal-oriented mindset with proven ability to meet sales targets and manage a structured pipeline.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to providing equitable, inclusive service to all customers.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- Prior experience in solar or related fields is an advantage but not required; willingness to complete product and industry training is essential.
