Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Solar Sales Representative role based in Redditch. The Solar Sales Representative will:
- Identify and qualify prospective customers
- Conduct in-person consultations
- Present tailored solar energy solutions that meet customer needs and budgets

The role involves:

- Preparing proposals
- Explaining system benefits and financing options
- Guiding customers through the sales process from initial contact to signed agreement
The individual will:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate system designs and smooth project handover
- Maintain detailed records of leads, activities, and outcomes
- Regular follow-up with customers
- Participate in local events or outreach activities
- Stay current on solar products, market trends, and incentives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within renewable energy, home improvement, or related sectors.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to build trust with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to understand and explain basic technical and financial concepts related to solar energy solutions.
- Self-motivated approach with effective time management and organization skills in an on-site environment.
- Comfort with using CRM systems, productivity software, and digital tools to manage leads and track activities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for customer visits and site assessments.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with design, installation, and customer support teams.
- Prior experience in the Redditch or wider West Midlands market is beneficial; knowledge of local energy incentives is a plus.
- 10% commission on all sales
