About The Role
Pertemps Telford is recruiting a Solder Resist Operative for a well-established manufacturer in Telford. This full-time, rotating shift post pays £12.84 hourly. Week one runs 6:00am to 2:00pm; week two runs 2:00pm to 10:00pm, with Friday hours of 6:00am to 10:00am or 10:00am to 2:00pm. Each day includes a 30-minute lunch break. The successful candidate will coat panels with solder resist ink via a semi-automated machine, develop panels after exposure, inspect them against quality standards, and apply legend print. Full training is given, so prior production or manufacturing experience is useful but not essential. Reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are key.

Friday: 6:00am - 10:00am / 10:00am - 2:00pm

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer for a Solder Resist Operative to join their production team in Telford.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving several stages of the PCB manufacturing process. Full training will be provided, making it a great opportunity for candidates with previous manufacturing or production experience.
Responsibilities
- Coating panels with solder resist ink using a semi-automated coating machine
- Developing panels after exposure
- Inspecting panels to ensure quality standards are met
- Applying legend print using a semi-automated inkjet machine
- Identifying and reporting defects
- Following production procedures and work instructions
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
