Job Title: Soldering Technician
Location: York
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexible start/finish times)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Soldering Technician to join a successful and growing organisation based in York. Working within a modern facility, you will play a key role in the production process, carrying out soldering and assembly work to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in soldering, electronics assembly, manufacturing, or a hands-on production environment. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical skills within a supportive and forward-thinking business.
Responsibilities Of Soldering Technician
- Carry out soldering and electronic assembly work in line with company procedures and quality standards
- Assemble components accurately using hand tools and production equipment
- Complete visual inspections and quality checks on soldered components and finished products
- Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and production specifications
- Ensure soldering equipment, tools, and workstations are maintained and ready for use
- Accurately complete production records and documentation
- Identify and report any issues affecting quality, workmanship, or production output
- Handle components and materials carefully to minimize damage and waste
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized working environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
- Work closely with colleagues and team leaders to meet production requirements and deadlines
